Hans Konrad Rahn-Foundation

The Hans Konrad Rahn-Foundation was established by RAHN AG in 2003 to mark the 70th birthday of Hans Konrad Rahn. Originally endowed with CHF 250,000.- of capital. Amongst others, thanks to charitable donations it currently has assets worth around 1.7 million Swiss francs. The foundation has thus succeeded the RAHN-relief fund, which in the course of several decades not only supported social projects in the Zurich region, but also contributed towards disaster relief in Switzerland and abroad. Like the relief fund, the foundation receives 2 percent of RAHN AG´s cash flow per annum. This is supplemented by generous donations from the Rahn family and other patrons. The foundation therefore has around CHF 250´000.- to CHF 300,000.- of funds at its disposal each year.
