Following the increasing market demand of cosmetic ingredients complying to requirements of natural cosmetics, RAHN introduces its new moisturiser AQUARICH® (eco).
AQUARICH® (eco) is a re-worked version of the well known and highly active moisturiser AQUARICH®. The new active ingredient is approved by Ecocert as raw material for natural and organic cosmetics.
AQUARICH® (eco) is a unique moisturiser for both skin and hair. Extract from black oat (Avena strigosa) contains water-binding substances such as polysaccharides and amino acids supporting the skin’s own Natural Moisturising Factor. Through its stabilising activity during the formation of biological membranes Lecithin contributes to support the lamellar lipid matrix of the epidermis. The transepidermal water loss is reduced. Applied on hair AQUARICH® (eco) exerts a repair-effect: the degree of hair damage as well as the hair surface structure are clearly optimised.
The efficacy of AQUARICH® (eco) has been proven in several studies:
* Deep-acting and sustainable improvement of skin hydration (in-vivo study)* Enhancement of skin moisturisation already at a use level of 1% AQUARICH® (eco) (in-vivo study)
* Hair-Repair-Effect: Improvement of hair surface structure by 43% at a use level of 0.2% AQUARICH® (eco)
The application of AQUARICH® (eco) visibly ameliorates the appearance of very dry skin as well as of damaged hair.
AQUARICH® (eco) is suitable for any kind of moisturising skin, body and hair care. It can be incorporated in gels, emulsions, shampoos and conditioners.

1 – 5% for skin and body care
0.2. – 2% for hair care
