New Product Flash GENOPOL* Polymeric Photoinitiators
UV/EB-curing printing inks and coatings are widely used in
a variety of packaging applications. RAHN has introduced its GENOPOL* product range of polymeric, high molecular weight photoinitiators that meet the demands for low migration, low odor and have favorable toxicology.

  • low odor
  • low migration
  • high molecular weight
  • fully compliant
  • existing safety assessment

When it comes to food packaging for indirect contact, odor and the potential migration of mobile components are a concern for every formulator, independently of the curing mechanism.

In UV-curing inks and coatings, the main focus is on photoinitiators which usually are of low molecular weight and have a tendency to migrate, either through the substrate or via reverse-side migration (set-off).
