Your main Accountabilities

Lab activities as well as leadership are your passions. Reporting to the Head of Application Laboratories Energy Curing, you are responsible for all application activities related to formulating and printing of photopolymers with different 3D printing technologies. In detail you are managing the application activities from pre-studies to specific customers-oriented projects. Your solid scientific foundation, your extended experience in formulation and application in the field of photopolymers 3D printing in combination with some customers/service orientation, will allow you to lead related projects and deliver technical support to internal and external stakeholders. This will result in facilitating the development and commercialization of new products and in optimizing existing product offerings for the specific photocuring resins additive manufacturing market. You will focus on application projects developing and implementing meaningful test formulations and methods. You analyze and interpret experimental results and create project reports for internal and external uses. You are working closely together with other application team members, the Products R&D, Technical Key Account Management, 3D Printing Business Development Manager, Sales and other internal departments and represent the company at customers and at technical conferences and exhibitions. Moreover, you will have a central role in coordinating all the application laboratory activities in the field of 3D printing including mentoring and leading the other team members working in this specific field across our three application laboratories in Switzerland, USA and China.

Your profile

You have a technical education in Polymers/Materials Science or equivalent disciplines. You have an excellent knowledge of UV/LED curing and its use in several 3D printing technologies, you have minimum 5 yrs industrial experience in this specific field. You have good project management track records. Moreover, you enjoy practical lab work and have a hands-on approach. You are fluent in English. German knowledge will be an advantage.
