DEFENSIL^®-PLUS

DEFENSIL^®-PLUS is a powerful and concentrated composition of anti-inflammatory and barrier-strengthening plant extracts and oils. It is a specialised product for treating chronically inflamed skin conditions such as atopic dermatitis and couperose as well as everyday problems such as mosquito bites and sensitive skin. Stimuli that cause massive damage to the skin barrier trigger an alarm signal in the skin. This can be caused by microinjuries, allergies or intrinsic skin diseases. As a consequence, acute or chronic inflammatory reactions occur, which can trigger a very unpleasant skin sensation. To minimise this, the inflammatory reaction must be reduced at the beginning and the skin barrier must be stabilised.

Clinical studies have shown that DEFENSIL^®-PLUS soothes the skin by protecting and regenerating the skin barrier from severe irritants. Even chronic inflammatory conditions such as atopic dermatitis and couperose are significantly alleviated by applying DEFENSIL^®-PLUS. It was shown that acute inflammatory reactions, such as those caused by mosquito bites, were immediately alleviated.

In-vitro studies have demonstrated that the ingredients of DEFENSIL^®-PLUS are able to effectively resolve inflammatory reactions from the beginning. The release of inflammatory markers is effectively suppressed, as is the degranulation of granulocytes that initiate the first phase of inflammation and allergies. In this way, the skin can be effectively soothed even in times of severe stress.
