SEBOCLEAR-MP^®

SEBOCLEAR-MP^® contains prenylated bioflavonoids of the plant Maclura cochinchinensis. It controls sebum and inflammatory processes in acne-prone skin in a unique, versatile way.

Impure, acne prone skin is not only a problem for teenagers in puberty, it affects every age group, every gender and ever ethnic group. The biochemical trigger factors range from sebum production, testosterone levels, inflammatory processes to an unbalanced microbiota. SEBOCLEAR-MP^® acts on all four levers to improve or prevent impure skin.

Clinical studies have shown that SEBOCLEAR-MP^® has excellent effects on impure skin. It reduces sebum-producing sebaceous glands and the development of blackheads and inflammatory spots on skin prone to acne. The skin texture is refined. It also improves the microbiota towards normal skin by suppressing the acne germ Cutibacterium acnes. A retinoic acid-like effect clarifies and rejuvenates the skin in the long term.

In-vitro studies confirm the unique synergistic effect of SEBOCLEAR-MP^®. It returns mature sebocytes to a precursor state and inhibits 5α-synthetase to reduce dihydrotestosterone levels. These two mechanisms lower sebum production and deprive the acne germ Cutibacterium acnes of the basis for proliferative growth. In addition,
SEBOCLEAR-MP^® directly inhibits the growth of germs typical to impure skin. Inflammatory reactions associated with acne are reduced and the formation of spots is
suppressed. A retinoic acid-like effect has been proven, which additionally provides a skin-clarifying effect, but also an anti-ageing contribution. SEBOCLEAR-MP^® is therefore ideal for impure skin of any age.
