DEFENSIL^®-PURE is a water-based, fermented millet extract that is produced in very much the same way as sourdough bread. Designed for especially dry skin, it hydrates and strengthens the skin barrier. It is suitable for use on atopic skin and promotes a healthy skin microbiota.

Very dry atopic skin suffers constantly from physical damage and a weakened skin barrier. An analysis of the fermented millet extract revealed that fermentation results in a greater release of important minerals in comparison with plain millet extract.
