Enhancing 3D Resin Strength

with GENOMER* 4293 & 4247

Optimizing Strength in Elastic Photopolymer 3D Resins
with GENOMER* Oligomers

Strength – Understanding how to adjust properties is key for photopolymer 3D resin formulators. Often, improving one property will come at the expense of another. Work is constantly being done to minimize those tradeoffs while at the same time considering sustainability goals. As advancements are made in raw materials for 3D printing, it is important to understand how different materials can be used to achieve a similar goal.

In this study, we review how relatively small amounts of Genomer 4293 and Genomer 4247 can separately be used to improve the strength of a highly elastic formula. This improvement will be weighed against other changes to the performance when adding these materials.
